Builder. Governor. Reformer. Nigeria's next President.
Peter Obi is not a product of Nigeria's political establishment. He is a builder — someone who ran a state like a business, refused to borrow, refused to steal, and left a legacy that Nigerians still talk about today.
Born on 19 July 1961 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Peter attended Christ the King College, Onitsha, before earning a B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1984. He went on to study at some of the world's most prestigious institutions — Harvard Business School, Oxford University's Said Business School, London School of Economics, Columbia Business School, and the Institute for Management Development in Switzerland.
But his most important education came in office. As Governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014, Peter Obi did what most Nigerian politicians said was impossible: he governed with integrity, transparency, and results. He left the state with a ₦75 billion surplus, zero debt, 600+ schools built, and a population that trusted their government.
Nigeria deserves the same.
They called him a rookie. They said he didn't have the right connections. They said Nigeria wasn't ready for someone like him. He ignored them all — and transformed Anambra into one of Nigeria's best-governed states without taking a single loan.
As Governor, Peter Obi ensured workers were paid their salaries and pensions on time — every month. He built roads, renovated schools, and invested ₦46 billion in infrastructure, all from internally generated revenue. When he left office, the state treasury had more money in it than when he arrived.
That is not politics. That is governance. And it is exactly what Nigeria needs at the federal level in 2027.
"Nigeria is not a poor country. Nigeria is a poorly led country. I have seen what good governance looks like. I built it. I am ready to build it for all of Nigeria."See The Big Agenda
Not slogans. Not party lines. Real convictions, proven in office.
Public money is not the government's money — it belongs to the people. Every naira must be accounted for. Peter published Anambra's accounts. He will do the same for Nigeria.
Nigeria imports what it should produce. Peter's entire economic philosophy is about building — factories, farms, industries — so that Nigerians earn rather than beg.
A Nigeria that works for the north and the south, the Igbo and the Hausa, the Muslim and the Christian, the rich and the poor. No Nigerian left behind. That is non-negotiable.
Nigeria's greatest resource is its young people. Every policy Peter designs starts with one question: what does this do for the next generation?
You cannot build an economy in fear. Security is not just a military problem — it is an economic and social one. Peter's approach attacks poverty and instability simultaneously.
He rode commercial buses as governor. He flew economy class. He lives what he preaches. The office of the president is a service role — and Peter Obi understands that deeply.
Peter Obi has proven he can govern. Now Nigeria needs to give him the chance to govern for all of us. Get your PVC. Join the movement. Make 2027 count.
